  • Attendees will be assigned to rooms of 2-3 girls ea based on age etc.
  • Athletes arriving from out of town will be personally met at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport by a LEAD mentor or organizer, ground transportation to and from the Hyatt Place will be provided.
  • Athletes arriving Friday (Sept 1) will be picked up from Austin-Bergstrom Airport and taken to Hyatt place where dinner, lodging and activities will be provided at cost for an additional fee of $45.  Early arriving attendees will be placed in rooms of 2-3 girls/room.  


The first ever LEAD Sports Summit will be held in Austin, Texas from September 2-4, 2017. Participants will engage in team building activities, leadership workshops, and breakout sessions throughout the weekend.

Saturday, September 2: 

  • Check-in: 11:30am - 1:00pm

  • 2 hour Swim Clinic at Austin Aquatics and Sports Academy with Elizabeth Beisel, Kara Lynn Joyce, & special guests
  • Dinner and nutrition seminar with sports registered dietitian, Jennifer Brunelli
    • How to fuel pre- and post-workout to benefit from your workout
    • Individualized fluid intake goals to decrease risk of injury and dehydration
    • Meal frequency for maximizing lean muscle gains 
    • Supplements - the keys to staying safe in an unregulated market

Sunday, September 3: 

  • Stand up paddle board morning excursion at Texas Rowing Center sponsored by Spinal Rehab Sports Medicine & Dr. Matt Lowe
  • Lunch and Keynote with Elizabeth Beisel
  • Confidence Coaching with Christen Shefchunas
    • How to handle fear and pressure
    • The truth about mental toughness
    • How to build confidence
    • How to create a life where confidence can thrive
